OUR MAJOR ACCIDENT PREVENTION POLICY

Flokser Kimya has adopted providing a safe working environment for its employees, visitors, subcontractors, and interns during all its activities, preventing hazards that could lead to major industrial accidents, and protecting the environment as its primary business objective. To achieve these objectives, Flokser Kimya commits to:

• Allocating necessary resources such as budget, time, personnel, equipment, etc.

• Defining the duties, responsibilities, and authorities of all units within the facility for the prevention of major accidents,

• Complying with relevant legal regulations, continuously monitoring changes, and implementing necessary adjustments,

• Determining and implementing methods for safe operations, including maintenance, repair, and temporary shutdowns,

• Providing training to personnel to ensure industrial safety,

• Preparing and implementing procedures, plans, and instructions within the scope of the Safety Management System,

• Identifying hazards and controlling potential accident risks,

• Evaluating major accident risks and accident probabilities,

• Preparing emergency plans for foreseeable accident scenarios and periodically exercising these scenarios,

• Keeping SMS and MAP Policy efforts current and effective,

• Working towards the continuous improvement and development of the SMS,

• Conducting periodic audits to monitor the performance of the Safety Management System and making necessary adjustments,

• Sharing the Major Accident Prevention Policy with all relevant institutions/organizations/individuals.
